My name is Carl, and Anomaly Offroad is my brainchild. I'm a Wellington-based mechanical engineer with a passion for getting out and exploring this beautiful country that we have been blessed with.

I'm a proud husband and father to four. I've got a real passion for designing parts that maximises utility and strength, while minimising weight. Advanced steels are my real jam, and I love introducing people to them. I noticed that there were no offroading products in New Zealand that were made from advanced steel. "Someone needs to fix that!" I said. No-one did, so I figured it was up to me to do it.

An 'anomaly' is something that's different, something that sticks out from the norm. I figured this was a fitting name for my business, because I don't want to just offer solutions; I want to offer exceptional products with a real difference - products that stand out!

Anomaly Offroad's unique design and unique steel means that you end up with products that will go the distance with you, will not let you down, and will not weigh you down. All this based on sound engineering principles means you end up with extremely tough world class products, designed and built right here in New Zealand.
